of princess juliana
Of Princess Juliana is BMR William’s eagerly awaited fantasy trilogy, and current most prioritized project. The story is set to take place in the same world as his previous novel, The Slaying of Aullen, though isn’t a direct sequel. Said to take place a thousand years before the contents of The Slaying of Aullen, Of Princess Juliana plans to expand upon the fantasy world BMR Williams has created for us.
Though the two books aren’t directly related, they share a common device known as the Maroria Stones. This artefact is said to connect one to the unspoken world, a topic which will be brought into further light in the coming series of books.
In terms of scope, if The Slaying of Aullen was the Hobbit, then Of Princess Juliana is the Lord of the Rings. Like A Song of Ice and Fire, Of Princess Juliana plans to navigate its story through multiple perspective characters in a parallel plot structure. This means that though the story is named after Princess Juliana, she isn’t the only focal point of the story. Like The Slaying of Aullen, Of Princess Juliana’s three books will be broken into nine sections, each divided by an intermissive chapter.
No release date has been announced for the first of the three books, though progress is moving as planned through its current production phases. Currently, the first of the three books is in first draft and remains open to beta readers.

princess juliana eilwel
Raised by her aunt the queen regent Clare Eilwel, Juliana is the daughter of Deran Ekthan and Illane Eilwel. Her family line comes from the combining of the ancient house of Aloon, and the ancient warrior family of Yewel. The Yewel house is the 8th family of the Vasmur of Voria, though it is the only one to have gone further past Esmar, entering the lands in the north known as Sonvoria. Here this family became estranged from the remaining Vasmur houses, and was thus not included in the uniting of the 7 families. For nigh a millennia the House of Yewel remained distant from the united houses, until a grim crime came upon them and their boy king Yarwel Yewel trespassed Esmar seeking vengeance. Though Yarwel had come in the name of revenge, his staying there would make him a hero as he would take charge defending the world against the rising of the shadow, a fell creature of unknown origin. Together with the great Hafeng, the guardian of Esmar and a thirty foot tall tiger-like beast, Yarwel would conquer the shadow, but not before falling for Elwin of Aloon. In honor of him, Elwin would change her family name to Eilwel, representing the combining of their blood lines.
Though Juliana comes from a line of prestigious warriors, her interests are placed elsewhere. She cares not for royalty, power, wealth, or knowledge. Her life, as she pleases, is blissful, and unfortunately caged. Her greatest desire is to seek fun and adventure in the forests which surround her city of Evalthia. Owed to her is the family jewels, the gems which once socketed the crown of Yarwel. These two red gems were faceted to a gold necklace, though lost with the disappearance of her mother. But when discovered by her brother Lutheran, they would be returned to her, and with them she would find great new powers within her store. She now found she had the power to speak with animals. One such beast, who she would favor over all others, is the apprentice of Hafeng, and the son of the King of Esmar. He is Dawnavi, a thirty foot tall unicorn.
queen regent clare eilwel
Daughter of the great Illithia Eilwel, Clare is everything that her mother wasn’t. Her mother was a great ruler, warrior, and scholar said to have read every book in the Evalthia Library by age 12. She was then made a master swordsman by age 19. Clare would never be capable of escaping her mother’s shadow, nor would she ever care to try.
Clare is known by her subjects as Clare the cruel for her strict and sudden enforcement of laws after her sister’s disappearance. Clare, uncaring of others, is generous with sentencing men to their deaths, many times without trial or reason. She is ugly and unloved. She never knew the touch of a man, nor ever expects to. Obese and marred with a face of moles, Clare loves not even herself, for her pleasantness is saved for one being only, the Princess Juliana.
Despite her wretchedness, Clare raised Juliana to be kind. Her smile is only seen in the presence of the Princess, who loves her very much the same. Clare, a known failure of a ruler, believes in Juliana. She’s spent her life preparing her to seat the throne, something her own mother never did for her. All would be well until the day Juliana disappears into the forest, and doesn’t return.
prince lutheran ekthan
Son of the Lord Deran Ekthan, Lutheran is the half brother of Juliana Eilwel. Before his father’s disappearance in 995 AF, he lived the swell life of a prince. Sword play and knighthood were his only worries, and greatest ambitions. To become a Sworn of the Court was his destiny, he felt, though all this would change after the return of the Shadow. This beast, called Balakthog, was thought to have been destroyed by Yarwel Yewel near three centuries before, but his second coming would remind all that the legends of his presence over Esmar were very real. The beast, however, would vanish as suddenly as came. An unknown hero wielding the blade of Yarwel had conquered it, and disappeared to wherever they came.
The night the beast returned would be the night Lutheran’s father had disappeared. Being only eight years of age at the time, Lutheran fell into woe. With is father gone, and Clare taking the throne as Queen Regent, Lutheran’s life would change. No more would he be allowed such a frivolous life style. Clare would be sure to see to it that Lutheran knew well the life of a commoner, and restricted him from achieving his ambitions.
the world of princess juliana
The world of Princess Juliana exists within BMR William’s fantasy world, which he commonly refers to as the World of Caelum. In his world, Caelum is but one universe of three residing within Aradora, the physical realm which exists without the Spirit Lands, or Spirtuar. Within Caelum rests the planet Amaria, which houses the majority of the content within his fictional realm.
The lands of Amaria are vast and mysterious. Esmarran, once believed to be one great landmass, was divided in three, creating Mur in the East, Maw in the South, and Esmar in the West. The people would one day abandon Maw, their place of origination, to occupy Mur, as directed to them by their gods. Shortly after this event The Slaying of Aullen would take place, BMR William’s first published novel. But not all obeyed their gods. Few, in a time long before the Departure to Mur, fled to Esmar seeking refuge after an event known as the Falling of the Lanterns Amundraya and Esaldria. Those who lead this expedition were the sons of Caesaldum, Akthan and Rembar. Their daughter, Voria, would take charge spreading there remaining people across Esmar, and their son, Llothen, would lead them south through an algid continent they called Llothengrauhndiel. What came of Llothen is unknown, but of the blood of Voria would come the story of Princess Juliana.
The Vasmur are a the same as the Elmur, though they differ slightly in their appearance due to the magic their people once benefited from the Lanterns Amundraya and Esaldria. After the destruction of these two great structures, the remaining Vasmur marked a new Age, which they would call “After Fall,” or “AF” for short. All which came before the falling of the lanterns they referred to as “BF,” (Before Fall). The contents of the story Of Princess Juliana begins on the year 1003 AF, 8 years after the sudden, but short-lived, return of the Shadow. However, the contents of the story remains within the Second Era, while The Slaying of Aullen took place during the beginning of the third.
Juliana is the Princess of the House Eilwel, the family residing within Evalthia in the lands of Evel. This place, known for its beautiful forests and mountains, is home to great wonders and beasts. The grasses are greenest, and the trees towering and tall like castle towers. Here resided the Ancients, the first beasts, of whom was Sole, father of Dawnavi.
The Vasmur of Voria build only on Voria’s road due to her pact with Sole, prior King of Esmar. This Pact is known as Voria’s Pact, and came with a set of rules which her people are never to break. Due to this, they are denied from expanding deeper into the continent.

CWLS
Due to trademark on the word “lightsaber,” BMR Williams is left without a name for his childhood comic book series, CWLS. Once called Cats with Lightsabers, the project is now currently under the name CWLS until further development.
CWLS is a comic book series planned to enter production after the publication of Princess Juliana. However, this has not stopped BMR Williams from beginning work on a “demo” chapter, which is said to be what he imagines the opening sequences of the story will look like.
Staying true to his original childhood characters, the world takes place in an anthropomorphic world filled with a variety of animal characters. The world is home to a scifi setting filled with cyberpunk inspired themes, and futuristic technology. But despite being first conceptualized at a very young age, the recreation of this world has been revamped with darker, more mature tones.
Though there’s is much to be released revolving the world and story of CWLS, BMR Williams has released artwork featuring the characters that will populate the upcoming story. While designed to be a comic book, it is his ambition to one day take the story to animation.
